University Village

University Village is the brain trust of Chicago’s near west side. Aptly named because of the large presence of the University of Illinois Chicago. The current boundaries that are considered University Village are between Ashland Avenue on the west and Interstate 90/94 on the east, the Eisenhower Expressway on the north and Roosevelt to the south.

Dog Parks in University City

DoGoneFun provides excellent Dog Day Care services, but what about the rest of the time? City dwelling doesn’t always lend itself to having open play spaces at home for the pups. Dogs should have regular exercise even when they aren’t at our facility.

In case you are new or didn’t know, the owner or other responsible person bringing any dog into a dog-friendly area must have a permit and tag issued by a participating Veterinarian for each dog.
