DoGone Fun offers different types of dog training services to help your pet become a well-behaved family member. Whether you have a puppy who needs to start obedience training or an adult dog with a behavioral issue, our team of skilled trainers will provide you with assistance. Set up a dog training session online.
We keep our group class sizes limited to six dogs in order to allow dogs and owners to receive more attention from trainers. We use positive reinforcement training methods and keep classes as fun as possible. Our group class options include the following:
- Obedience training: We offer beginning level and advanced level training for dogs of all ages. Dogs learn the basics of obedience training during these sessions and also have a chance to work on their socialization skills.
- Agility Training: We offer agility classes for owners who want to physically challenge their dogs.
- Reactive dog: These classes are designed to help dogs who tend to bark or pull on their leash when they’re out for walks.
We offer Beginning Level, Advanced Level and Specialized dog training classes throughout the year. Most of our obedience training classes typically take place in the evenings. Our agility classes are usually on Saturday mornings.
Individual Dog Training
For more personalized sessions, we offer individual dog training. These lessons focus on your dog’s specific behavioral needs. You can have your dog train with us while here for boarding or daycare by signing up for our Board ‘N’ Train, Daytime Training, or Ivy League programs. With these options our trainer will spread your dog’s training out over multiple sessions throughout the day, which helps reinforce the learned behaviors. We also offer one-on-one training at our facility through the following options:
In-Home Dog Training
If you prefer to have us come to your home to work with your dog, we offer in-home dog training services. We recommend these services for help with crate training, house-proofing, separation anxiety, basic manners and barking. We can also bring your dog to a local park to work on socialization. We offer individual in-home training sessions or discount packages with up to ten lessons.
Our team of dog trainers has extensive experience successfully using positive training methods for dogs of all ages. Our Director of Training, Judit Arroyo, has several certifications from professional dog training associations, including Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Judit is also an evaluator for the S.T.A.R. Puppy Test and AKC Canine Good Citizen test.
